Are you feeling crowded?
If you're feeling a bit crowded these days, then following are statistics showing how our lebensraum--our living space--on Earth has decreased dramatically over the centuries but particularly since 1937.
A child born in 2003, is sharing a square mile with 10.95 people; one born in 1937 shared it with 3.65 people; and back in 1607 a child's birthright was an exclusive square mile.
With the world's population increasing unchecked, our lebensraum will inevitably get smaller because the world--at 575,096,920 square miles--is not going to get any bigger!
